The real story behind StudySnaps — and why we're doing this.
We came up with StudySnaps right after finishing our GCSEs. You know that feeling when you've just survived exam season, and you're looking back thinking "there has to be a better way"? That was us. We'd watched our friends cry over textbooks, pull all-nighters cramming, and stress themselves into burnout — all because they left revision until the last minute.
But here's the thing: we realised this wasn't going to stop. Moving into college, A-Levels, BTECs, T Levels — students are going to keep struggling with the same problems. Work commitments, burnout, lack of motivation, or just life getting in the way. The traditional "read everything three times" approach doesn't work when you've got two days before an exam and a mountain of notes.
So we decided to build something that would make last-minute revision feel smarter and easier — not overwhelming. Something that actually helps you focus on what matters most, instead of drowning you in everything you "should" have done weeks ago.
StudySnaps follows the 80/20 rule: 20% of what you revise delivers 80% of your results. We're using AI to help you find and remember that 20% — fast.
No more drowning in endless notes. No more panic about what to prioritise. Just the key stuff you actually need to know, delivered in a way that sticks.
Right now, we're focusing on A-Levels, BTECs, and T Levels — the qualifications we know inside and out. But this is just the beginning. Our plan is to grow StudySnaps to support high school and university students too, because the struggle with last-minute revision doesn't magically disappear when you get older.
The app is still private and being tested with a group of trusted students who are helping us make sure we get this right. We're not rushing to launch something half-baked — we want StudySnaps to actually work when you need it most.
Photos and faces coming soon. For now, we're heads-down building.
